Atoka Main Street        

Atoka Main Street has the goal of uniting citizens of Atoka to allow them to make a positive change in our city by restoring and revitalizing our historic downtown. As a part of the National and Oklahoma Main Street Program we will use the four point approach.

While coordinating volunteers to make a difference….. we assist existing businesses with promoting themselves and help sustain the viability of the downtown district, as well as preserve buildings.

I thought Court Street was the main street in town!

Yes our "Main" street is actually Court Street but as part of the National Main Street Organization it's more of a feel than location. After over a year of background work by the Atoka Main Street Board in 2009 we became one of the newest Oklahoma Main Street Communities.

Monthly Board meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month at 5:30 in City Hall.

Committee meetings are held periodically throughout the year. Times and dates are set by the committees themselves to accomodate members. If you would like to attend a committee meeting or be a part of a committee please call the office for information on th enext meeting and the chariperson's information.
